Outbound Sales Representative 7-Month Term

We are seeking out a 7-Month Term Outbound Sales Representative to join our team at our Winkler office. This position is a commission and wage-based role and reports to the Outbound Sales and Admin Lead.

What You’ll Do:
– Interact with current and potential clients through inbound and outbound sales channels to sell Valley Fiber services (Fiber & Fixed Wireless)
– Build rapport and act as the first point of contact for customers
– Assist customers by phone, email, and internal transfers as required
– Collect customer information for future follow-ups
– Upsell services and make product recommendations to customers
– Close sales and hit sales targets
– Identify sales opportunities
– Stay informed on product and service information updates
– Sales documentation and administrative duties as required

Who You Are:
– Previous sales experience is considered an asset
– Previous experience in telecommunication sales is considered a strong asset
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software considered an asset
– High level interpersonal skills
– Ability to expertly advise customers on purchase decisions
– Customer oriented mindset
– Strong written and verbal communications skills
– High level of professionalism
– Emotional intelligence and strong active listening skills
– Problem-solving skills with the ability to apply effective solutions
– Meticulous attention to detail
– Working knowledge of various technology and software programs
– Strong Product knowledge is an asset
– Excellent time management skills

Working Conditions:
– Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
– Willingness to adjust to alternating shifts (8:00am to 4:30pm or 11:30am to 7:30pm)
– Willingness to attend and participate in various company sales events
